Among those who walked the path of the Acolyte, devoting themselves to the gods, there were some who insisted that not only the spirit but also the body must be devoted to the gods.
They invested their time and effort into honing their bodies rather than their minds, eventually gaining physiques so refined they came to be called living weapons.
Many people came to call them Monks, with a mixture of fear and respect, for the tremendous time and effort they invested in achieving such disciplined bodies while performing good deeds for the gods.
Appearing with the mysterious, little-known power of combo skills and Ki, they were able to shatter anything that stood in their way with their tough bodies and powerful combo strike techniques.
Now, in accordance with the decree of Tristan III, King of Rune-Midgarts, and the orders of the bishop of the Cathedral, they proclaim the will of the gods to all corners of the world, while declaring war on the monsters overrunning the world, wielding their formidable strength directly on the battlefield.
